so this past weekend i'm the best man for my buddy, and the wedding is beautiful, then itz time to go party.....woo-hoo......now, like most weddings, the wedding party doesn't show up to the reception until way-after (cuz of photos and shit).....by the time we get to the party, which is outside (at the bride's aunt uncles 50+ acre home on a hill....beautiful), everyone is bitching about how hungry they are.....well, about 70 or so peeps attended the wedding, but around 150 or so peeps are at the recpetion....all bitching about food......so we eat, start drinking, i deliver my speech, the band starts playing, and before you know it, at around 6 o' clock, 3 hrs after the wedding ended, damn near everyone fucking left the reception! like everyone.....seriously........they just ate, then ran.....they didn't even really bother with consumng the four kegs or the hundred+ bottles of liquor....just ate and ran......and no one really danced all night either.....no one, save for me with my family.........i felt so bad for my buddy and his new wife..........plus, someone broke into the Maid of Honors car and stole her cd's and cd player........wtf?! everyone there was just a bunch of rednecks, truckers, and white trash..........how fucking rude!

that's horrid .... I hope your buddy and his wife are off to a better start now then how the reception went.

well....i think there's a lot of bad signs.....first off, it rained.....but not at the reception.....then all that shit happened......we were an hour and a half late in the morning....his dog threw up all inside his car.....and they didn't really have a honeymoon planned.....they were just gonna put up a tent and crash at the aunt and uncles, only they got locked out....didn't have an air mattress or pillows and got into a huge fight........so i left

damn...that does sound like a bad start...but there's an old wives tale that says the worse a wedding day goes, the happier the marriage will be

my grandmother and I didn't get along till after her 80'th birthday. Great Grandma was different but already in her 80 back then...I think their age makes a difference in how they act towards the grandchildren

lol hee hee !! and the DOG thing pricless he he dude thats funny shit ...on the reverse when the wife and I planned our wedding 3/4 of the ppl WE WANTED there ( our buddies ) didnt show up at all they were all still sleeping from an allnight RPG game so it was just my wifes best friend a few close co-workers and mostly all the bum buddies of my mother in law !..tho we had the next week all planed out at ity was the BOMB !!
Hell we couldnt get rid of ppl fast enough !! snicker !! ..
