A little back story? Darktiggr likes them young. In fact, in the same thread the post I'm quoting was made, he's essentially said that he would sleep with pre-pubescents if it weren't illegal. This isn't just an older guy likes younger women, that I can understand and will even defend. This is an adult, in his thirties, almost fourty, who likes girls who haven't even started bleeding yet. His favorite porn are barely, barely, barely legal girls who might be eighteen, but really look like they're just starting to develop. Cute.

Anyway, he made the following post, which I have dissected and refuted. Enjoy.

That is entirely ridiculous. First off, it fails to take into account that having sex at the age of twelve is not something that is physically safe across the board. Yes, in the past and in certain cultures, the marriage of men to young women has been encouraged. However, while it's not unheard of, brides at the age of twelve is and was and has always been uncommon. The average age of the brides was fourteen to seventeen. So many girls have not had their period at the age of twelve and the very act of sex is damaging to their bodies at such a young age. Occasionally this is not the case, but for the most part it is. And twelve year old boys... Not having been on I don't speak from experience, but I don't think a single one would be too terribly interested in real life.

Still further, twelve years of life is not enough experience for some one to live on. The cultures that did marry off girls that young have had much tighter communities and safety nets for these "adults" to live with. Our culture would not be able to sustain these children and treat them as adults. Because it would involve a lot more than just sex. We would be saying that these kids would get the rights of every other adult. Would you let a twelve year old vote? Own a house of their own? Work full time? Drive a car? Drink? And you would have to give them all of the rights of an adult, otherwise the whole purpose is purely to have sex with them.

So why does it matter? It does not.

I think most parents would very much rather their children wait to sleep with anyone, the only reason people don't freak out as much about their eighteen year old fucking their SO as their fifteen year old is that there is nothing they can do about the eighteen year old. I actually think a lot of people have grown to accept that minors will have sex and many just hope that they do it safely. However, I think that a lot of people are scared shitless that their children and younger people will be taken advantage of by "adults." There are many, many different ways this can happen many, many ways it can be damaging. I think this is a perfectly justifiable fear in many cases. Sometimes it's not, but oftentimes, given the state of mind of those involved, it is.

The age of consent is sixteen almost universally throughout the United States and under eighteen in all of them. That means that with a few exceptions, some one who has reached that age does not need parental permission to have sex with some one within their age range. By the age of sixteen it is perfectly safe for a woman to have sex. She is not likely to suffer any physical ramifications from her sexual actions. Her body is developed enough to handle carrying a child to term and can handle the very act of sex, which isn't always the case when a girl is younger. (Note the wording) Saying that a boy should follow the same regiment is simply gender equality.

This is absurd. Nothing you have said has anything to with this and I can assure you that the inability to have sex with twelve year olds is not the source of our culture's sexual repression.

I'm all for eliminating pedophiles and rapists from public circulation, but making children more available to them is not the way to go about it. All it does is enable the pervert and remove so many of their roadblocks. This plan is suicidal (homicidal actually...) and would almost certainly cause more problems.

But then, what can we expect from some one who quite obviously wants to pork children himself, hell, who has said that he would if he wasn't afraid of legal ramifications.

It really makes you wonder about the whole spectrum of rampant sexual energy that we're all so attuned to, especially in this day and age. All people want to do is run around and fuck things these days. Personal preferences aside, I think all the levels of "deviant sexual appetites" is more of a matter of the lack of being fulfilled with Life in general.

your issue is a matter of perception. You percieve it to advocate having sex with children when a few of us see it in a different light. You complained about somee pictures that he posted saying they were under age when and I told you that was looked into and she was found on several porn sites as well as her own website stating she was over the age of 18. You may not like what he had to say, but it stands that well he said it and stands behind it. I think it would also be a good idea as it might weed out the pedophiles or rapists that plague our society...also funny how some countries around the world allow sex with minors, but here you sit putting your "american" view on this and that your right and he is wrong. The world is the way it is, and some countries do allow sex with minors. Not all 12 yr olds look 12, as I have met an 11yr old I swore was at least 16, both physically and mentally. You may have some shit happen to you in the past, but that does not mean that he was wrong in what he said. It's his opionion and he has the right to it. Wether we agree or disagree. Bitch all you want, it isn't going to chnge I have talked to a couple of other mods that do not see an issue with what he said. It matters little since you'll just end up bitching and complaining anyways about this site and how bad Tigg's is when in reality you know nothing more about the man then the things he posts here. Instead of looking at what he possible said, maybe you should look to your own insecurities before trying to point out the flaws that someone else possesses. I have even had a few people read it that aren't part of DF and don't see anything wrong with it.

First of all it was an opinion and in it he never actually advocated sex with minors. He advocated that, rather then going by a set age, we instead determine adulthood by some form of screening proccess for both males and females.
I fail to see how that can in anyway be construed as advocating pedophilia and I think you know that too.
I find myself wondering what this is really about in that case.

That doesn't mean that anything said here exists outside of the law. If some one makes an irresponsible comment they need to be held accountable, esspeically if they are a mod or an admin. That's what I was asking you to do. If you refuse, then I will take care of it through another means.
