My girl Shpyre doesn't like Tiggs. Not liking someone will shed a bad light on anything they have to say. You're not going to like it, and you're probably going to take it to it's worst possible extreme. That pedophilia thread that crimsonnyte started was about a friend of hers who was buggering someone a lot older than her. I (and a couple others) went off on her for taking no action. She in turn saw to it that some sort of action was taken (whether she made it happen or not). That was cool.

Now, if Tiggs is going off on some tangent about his mental sexual maturity tests, whateva. That sounds like a pile. But I can go ahead and tell Tiggs that, and no harm no foul. Doesn't make him a pedophile. A little twisted, maybe... but not a pedophile... and hey... there's plenty of things about me that the majority would think is a little twisted. Responsible for all bad things?, goodness no, there have been sooo many bad decisions at DF (almost all of them not yours, many of them not even by mod concensus) I wouldn't even know where to begin, it would be like listing easily preventable Microsoft security issues.

Lets list some good things that have come into DF-- A body of Rules posted so EVERYONE may read them and understand thier rights and the rights of Moderators, A Ban Thread so everyone can see who has been banned and what for--- no more secret bannings per the Sire era--, More approachable Moderators, An Active Administrator and Mod-Cop, Active SuperModerators to take care of Spam and people who have active problems with either the Forums or another Member, Discussions about problems which arise and new content every month in the form of Topic of the Month---(It WILL be changing every month now that i am back )
Decisions which are made usually by consensus(In case of an emergency SuperMods are entrusted to make immediate decisions), a Moderator for Every Forum who is active and participates in discussions and relevant issues, Unbiased decisions based on the Report and posts rather than Personal feelings, and IF mistakes are made EVERY effort is made to rectify said mistakes by all the Moderators, a PassWord Protected Adult Forum requiring Identity in order to post and view so as to weed out the youngsters who were frequenting it when it was wide open, I am sure theer is lots more I could list but this should reflect on the many changes for the better which have been made though not to everyones satisfaction.....

From what I read you don't even have access to the adult forum as of yet, so you don't know even know where this is coming from. You don't know the facts yet you go on and on trying to fuel the controversy. That's lame. While Sphyre was at least open to debate, and even the possibility of her mind being changed, you come in like some overzealous newb who likes to talk shit without knowing all the facts (and I highly doubt even thoroughly reading all the posts in this thread).

How is my decision wrong? I took it as something other then him being a pedophile? I do not see where he is petitioning to be allowed to have sex with a 12 yr old, just that it may be an idea for people to be tested prior to having sex to see if they are justifibly in position to take credit for their actions. As I have stated, the fact that 12 yr olds and sometimes younger are having sex, that in some way shape or form they should be tested to see if they are mature enough and responsibile enough for the outcome of their actions. Is a 12 yr old having sex mentally responsible to take care of himself, a girlfriend and a child? Is he mature enough to handle the responsibility of having a baby? It is a sad fact that kids 12 yr old do have sex and can get pregnant. Damn, the legal age of consent is 14. That being sid, i have seen kids younger then that more mature and better developed then a 14 year old. When i was 17 I met a chick that was attractive and she had an interest in dating me, she looked 16 and i was prepared for it till, someone that knew her told me she was 11. we remained friends but nothing ever came from it. Does that make me a pedophile?

I took Tigg's post for what it was, an idea around the issue of children having sex and being mentally capable of the outcome of their actions
