Well, if I stick around, not sure if I'm going to be, but you know me, even when I'm not officially here, I visit from time to time.

(Before you suggest it, no, me not sticking around is nothing to do with this thread, but yes, the current series of events before as well as membership of another board has something to do with it)

No what users will never have is what they want when they make a complaint... compliance based on strongarm tactics.... such as 'Demod him or i will contact the Authorities".... A threat will only be met with ridicule.... if someone wants to be taken seriously please make a complaint and take the decision at hand for what it is.... even with the threat we took the report seriously and talked about it.... after reading the initial post and the report we concluded that nothing was wrong... instead of acceptance it was met with a threat....

I got that from the first post.
It says to me that Darktiggr deems it acceptable for 12 year old to have sex.
He's not out and out saying he wants to be the one to do it, but it does appear to be a condoning statement.
The dafter thing, however, is that anyone can think that a test administed by a doctor of any kind could measure a child's readiness for adult relationships.
Could measure their ability to deal with the many problems that can come with manipulation, betrayal and possible parenthood, and all the other things that adults have to deal with.

If you let them be an adult in one area, you'd have to let them vote, get credit cards, be tried as an adult....

And again, I am suspicious of anyone who would think of a 12 year old as a sexual being.
If they play about with each other that's one thing, but why would an adult want a piece of that?

Also, what parent would let their child take that test??

The only reason to get the police involved would be to "set an example" somehow, although in this case, no example really needs to be set. Too many problems with Adult.... may have to just make a User Group Registered Adult and/or shut it down entirely. Every time an issue arises because of that board it becomes a hot bed of dissension.

But i know th epast history between Sphyre and a few other members of the Forum. i am not accusing her of anything and yet i have to state that I htink this was a personal vendetta and nothing more. earlier within the thread DT clearly states that he thinks it is wrong for a man to have sex with an underage girl or vice versa.

Sometimes we as Mods have to make decisions without consorting with other Mods. Windigo made the call on this one and I back his call. So in actuality I am working in tandem with another Mod. i am not working alone on this. Other Mods have also made it known that this was a hollow Report and now it is completely blown out of proportion by your use of Logical Deduction to make me out a fool. My words have never defined me and if they have they have defined me as an asshole with integrity. I would hope my actions here speak louder than them.
I do not feel that I have to change who I am here in order to make decisions based on logical deduction of the problems. I can still be a regular member while at the same time helping correct problems the Forums face. if you feel differently that is your right.
I will continue to be who I am and not who someone wants me to be.

I do not need the permission from a moderator to change the structure of DF. I have my reasons for looking into this, and the members that have proven their age would not be effected.

I have had people send me their pics of their drivers license and i require no less. either prove it or shut up.
