These new people moved in above me this month.. They have at least one 3/4YO that runs about constantly ALL DAY LONG. But hey, she's young, energetic, i understand that part of it...

But..........




The kid wakes up about 7:30 am, and goes nonstop till sometime between 11PM and 1AM!!! I mean what's up with her mother??? letting the kid stay up that frickin late/early?????
Now thats half of the problem... And the lesser of it... The MOM stays up after the kid goes to bed till about 3:30AM!! and, for whatever reason, has to constanly pace back and forth from her bed to the kitchen, and back again.. apparently(i timed it) once every 10 seconds for two hours after the child is asleep!!!!!! And sometimes longer!

Normally this wouldn't bother me, but the building is old and the floors creak in certain areas loudly! So there i lay, in bed, trying to sleep, while this creaking of the floors goes on untill at least 3AM EVERY NIGHT!!! Then it starts again between 7 and 8AM!!! How the HELL am i supposed to get decent sleep when this is going on??!! And how the hell does this lady manage on between 3 and 4 hours of sleep(if that)!!

God this pisses me off... I mean Shite lady!! get off the drugs and get some sleep will you!!!!!!!

Bah, need to go be chipper at work now.. on very little sleep... Like thats gonna happen!!

when it comes to mothes i dont think they need drugs..when i used to live with my mother she'd be going to bed at about 3/4 in the morning then getting up about 8am to get ready for work..

i've no idea how she did it, i can barely survive a day if i don't get atleast 8 hours sleep.

but perhaps you should just try and tell her how much of a noisy cow her and her child his, in a nice way though..least to start with!

It's not so much the kid.. Kids will be kids you know.. Hell, i know.. I have one.....

It's the fact that the mom paces continually from the bed area to the kitchen(over where i sleep) for 2 to 3 hours afterwards!!!! I mean How the hell am i supposed to sleep with her walking over the creaking areas till 3-4 in the morning??? Shite! She does it every 10 seconds for *insert deity of your choice here* sake!!!!

Nope.. if it was bladder problem, then she would do it during the daytime too..

And if there was a ghost, well,,,,,, I would have known about that long ago..


OH, gotta love this one... I spent needed funds for a few beers to help me get past the 'strolling' noise.. actually got to bed before 11PM and thought i would get a decent amount of rest....

Her frickin brother shows up at 4AM in the damn morning POUNDING so loud on the front door of the building that it woke me up out of a decent sleep... So instead of 8 hours(give or take), i ended up with just 5 hours.... Damn neighbors!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and of this typing. He parked his lame-arse car on the LAWN!! not on the street, or in a parking space in the back, kor even in the driveway... The frickin LAWN!!!!

Mine runs about like a loon all day but I make her go to bed at 7pm. She doesn't sleep straight away mind you, just lays there and listens to story tapes, but at least we get a window of sanity or I'd be pacing up and down all night.
And if she could hang on until 7.30 in the morning I'd be over the moon. Still, being forced to get up at 6am means I get lots of stuff done early...

You may have to move. I know I sound all judgemental and all, but you've seen her and her kid and her brother, and they all follow the same sort of vein. Chances are any man she hooks up with is going to be 'interesting' too. First there'll be noisey sex, then arguments, then things smashing, then him standing outside at 3am yelling, and her throwing things out the window at him.
Then the police will come.
Sorry...flashback...I'm so glad I've moved...

Well, rent is due next week... we'll see what the managers have to say.. they like me, i've been in this building for over 2 years now... And i do the yard maintinance, snow removal, occasional repairs, ect, for a rent discount..

Nivvie, sorry to hear your relationship went that far south.. But if that starts happening here with her, then the owners will give her a 30 day notice!! That happened last year.
They actually try to get decent people here. It's just hit and miss when they rent..

Mhmm, you know what sucks too? Living in a dorm, waking up to go to class and see that you have no floor, there are bodies there! Gah, wanted to KILL my roommate. I spent most of the day away and then left for the weekend because I was so angered. Yea, neighbors, roommates...our one neighbor will play music with a really loud bass, you know it's 2 am Im sleeping them "bum bum bum" through the wall I hear the bass...blah! I feel the pain.

with music you can tell them to shut it off... with walking..*shrugs*
