Have any plans to keep them from going toe to toe? Or are you going to just hope for the best? Having any variety of insurance as to weapons being brought in? Cause damn near everywhere I go, I have at least one knife on me. And when people get to drinking, and someone says something they may not like, who knows what will pop into the drunkard's head.

Sorry if it seems like I'm raining on this, or trying to shoot it down. Hell, its a kool idea. But at this point, thats all it is, and idea. I think its going to take alot longer than 10 months (I saw that number somewhere, not sure on its accuracy) to put this thing together solidly. Just trying to keep your feet on the ground.

1.) Outsiders? You make it sound like people are going to start a secret society with plans to invade... some other Middle Eastern country. Taking a friend or two along seems like the most natural thing to do. I don't know about what kind of friends you have but I don't doubt the general ensemble will more than likely just have fun and get to know people they've been chatting to for years, and then introduce them to their "irl" friends.... and so the party continues.

2.) I don't even imagine there exists an appropriate answer for this. How old are you, 12?

3.) Do you moonlight as the vocalist for an 80's punk/rock band? If not I do imagine the average DF'er isn't a complete prat and would behave accordingly.

4.) Ok, you do take yourself and the internet too seriously. "Enemies".... Hahaha

I never thought I'd say this, but I only agree with thefr0g. Pretty much anything could happen at this convention that could happen at any other social gathering.... no one has complete control. But, the people who are going are the people who are willing to put up with whatever bullshit that may go down, so there's really no point in knocking the concept of having them meet each other. Besides, if you (like myself) aren't going, you have nothing to worry about. I guarantee you that when the actual convention goes down, I will be unharmed, wherever I may be.
