Apparently what he has to say is so terrifyingly vicious that it simply can't be said in Politics, so he's specially requested that I repeat the post here. Go on then big boy. Impress me.

Terrifyingly vicious? No. I was just under the impression that personal flames were to be kept out of the politics board. Either the rules don't apply to you, or the politics mods can't be bothered to show up on the board once a day or so. I thought about starting a thread here myself about you, like I did to Sphyre, but then I realized that, unlike Sphyre, you aren't worth the extra effort, but apparently I'm worth the effort to you.

You're a pussy. You look at the world through pussy goggles. The only question is, did you adopt opinions at some point in your life that turned you into a pussy, or were you always a pussy, and that led you to your current views? Did you get beat up a lot on the playground when you were growing up?

You're right. That wasn't terrifyingly vicious. It was just childish playground baiting. I'm 24, so I'm a big boy now. If you want to say something cutting then you'll have to say something that adults care about.

As for whether my comment was apprpriate for the Politics board... Well, maybe it was close to the line. But it was relevant, and prompted by one of the lamest statements I have ever seen on there. You admitted quite freely that you 'judge other teams [i.e. nations] much more harshly than I judge my own.' By saying that you cast off any pretence to a credible opinion. You admitted that you knew your judgement was skewed and you didn't care. To my mind that's pretty pathetic.

Commendable, but it's pretty hard to argue so much in favor of your team when you aren't as critical of it as you are with the oppositiong. It kinda nullifies any strong points you would have to make in that arena. Granted, pussy tree-huggers are biased in the exact opposite way, so they suffer the same problem. I guess that people who just don't give a crap would be the most objective arguers

I have nothing but my word to back this up, but I try hard not to consciously distort facts. Opinions can be spun any way you want, and I frequently do that, but I try not to touch the facts.

It may be unconcious, if you have a perverted view of the facts with you regard as true.
