Geez, so be Dark already! Surely you tolerant, enlightened goths (& whatever other subcultures are "dark") aren't suggesting this site be limited to only a few topics! You should be able to consider any topic from a dark perspective.

As a newB I was very pleased to be welcomed right away into a serious religious discussion, but I'm also like enjoying the less weighty Playground.

I also like seeking some of the same names [though the changing avatars caught me by surprise] in various places because having fewer people involved in a particular discussion can deepen the conversation and increase the sense of community.

Thank you for providing this forum as it is. If the only discussions here were Piercings, Alternative Fantasy & "My Soul is More Tortured than Your Soul", I wouldn't be here (not that I'd expect anybody to mind that, dejected doomkitten that I am).

Yes, but nobody thinks big enough. It's all directed at individuals and little personality cults. Learn to paint with a broad brush.



The Passion Of The Piss

*giggles* I love this forum because of threads like this. I've been here since 2000 (I was Alanna Cerene first) and I still visit almost every day. I don't post as often as most of you, but I still read all the threads and post if I have something to say. Even if I never posted at all I'd probably still cruise through at four am just to kill time and see what everyone is saying. And One had a good point, there's nothing dark about this forum... it is pretty funny.

I also happen to enjoy the spammers, especially the responses to them and the changes the mods make to the threads after the bastards are banned. It's fun!

So yeah. DF has changed, but I'm still here, and I'll still be here until it no longer exists. And then I'll wander aimlessly around the interweb with nowhere to go.

well i think this forum is letting those people have what they want. i am the judge of this.

Or at least people who love making people who are trying to be somebody else miserable will. Honostly the only thing that I loved about Dark forum in the past was the ability to have total fucking all out wit or stupidity battles with people like Pyrick, B. Demise, Assdude, and Billy.
It was kind of interesting to read the latest writings on the day in the life of a crackwhore dancer...forgot her name...and of course running to Jobe for a good soothing over after an emotional breakdown. And practicing drunken poetry skills passed time well.
Yeah...it is a bit quiet here with some of my favorites gone, but Assbunnyboy, and Jobe are still here still seems to be the occasional fly that gets caught in the web, the bloods just not flowing as fast as it once did...I suppose a young Vampire is much more vibrant than one who's lived for two hundred years though...you know.
