actually ( and I kept my mouth shut up till now cuz Billy takes distinct pleasure in fucking with me) each board is independant of all others, and moving author's material around does violate "copyright infingement law" ... if you don't believe me, take a look at what is considered C.I. for a programmer... doesnt one have to actually copywrite something legally before they can call it copywritten? besides the copywrite issue is moot right nmow, i have no problem slamming people for thier poetry and instead of supplying a "QUOTE!!!" of it i can supply a link TO the original source instead..

NOTHING..... is gonna happen to the Bitch Forum.... the new rule being instituted is merely an oversight which Billy brought to our attention dealing with an authors ability to allow or disallow someone to quote or post thier work outside of thier thread...... I agree with this rule if only to protect viable works of art or writing..... when you make a post with a work of art in it it becomes yours if it was originally done by yourself..... and noone can quote it or post it outside of the thread it was posted in originally...... I was the one who edited Billys thread and I only edited out any referance to the poem in question and the ensuing argument which took place about it..... from now on if you want to slam someones work leave a link.... now what is so hard with that????? and if anyone bitches about that they can take it here...... also.... it is pretty open to Forum Mods as to whether or not they send a thread split here or to deleted when flames ensue..... if for some reason you do not agree with what they did.... DO NOT start a flame war in that Forum with the Mod..... it casts a bad light on your argument and gives them fuel to burn you with.... contact garg or a SuperMod immediately and we will look into it and see if any wrongdoing has been taking place..... if it is something minor which can be fixxed and it was the Mods bad judgement call the Mod will be warned..... if they continue they could lose thier modship and even be banned......

yet... never never just start a bitch war with them because as i said it clouds the issue and becomes hard for us to figure out what exactly went on and who started what..... sometimes we will not be able to look into something immediately.... I know I have a life outside these forums and I am not here 24/7.... so it could take as long as 24 hours to get a reply..... and I gaurantee you.... I ALWAYS REPLY and keep you updated even if it is only to tell you to quit your bitching and that you were wrong.......

So have no fear.... this Forum is still here to stay.... and even Mods have to answer for thier actions..... I for one attempt to look at everything with an unbiased eye.... so if I were to tell you you are wrong it is nothing personal......

great, however as i said... the issue has been moot for some time now.

if that is the only change then good... i can deal with that but iv eheard from an admin that there has been discussion amoung the mods that they wish to moderate from now on the bitch board. But if this is wrong i have no problem dropping the issue, the only reason i made this thread pertaining to it is becaus ei hate the secrecy surrounding the decision making on this website... and thought everyone had a right to know before any changes were made. In any event if there will be no moderation and the ONLY issue is the copywrite issue, fine thats good, i got no problem dropping the issue... but Dy i did PM you with another issue..

I love this Forum.... and I love DF.... it is strangely addictive and I have met many a person here who I have either hated or liked.... and both keep me highly entertained.... I hate to see people banned.... even people I hate.... and this Forum gives us an alternative to banning.... I used to troll the deleted forum sending threads here that I thought were appropriate.... yet I stopped doing that in order to come to a compromise.... and I am a very compramising person.... I think though that all threads which are split for flames or bitching or personal attacks should be sent here.... having an alternative is better than having none after all....

billy - why instigate? why bother????you get yourself worked up much more that you can ever bother the mods....

Billy lives to get worked up. I know of a few people who get off on arguements and heated debates...
