i've always believed that knowing yourself is the most important thing first. you don't have to share yourself with people who don't deserve to know. and its not like i ever lied to anyone, no one ever asked.

yes... they do go hand in hand, but there major difference is worth arguing. Nihilism destroys yourself... but i can truthfully say i exist, so i have to go with exisistentialism. thou I adopt other philosiphies into my mass manifesto that one day will become real. still working it out... lots of confusion.

yeah, i don't think thatz nihilistic.........itz just not relative to belief's, itz relative to everything.......i think this would be nihilistic (but am unsure), that nihilists would argue 2+2 does not equal 4 for in reality there is no such thing as 2, or +, or 4........

nihilism is the beliefe that in a world of increasing size, people become nothing. nothing you ever do will effect the world now, and deffinantly won't effect the world in the long run. so anything you do is nothing cause you are nothing. all the things you buy are nothing, all the things you want are nothing, your own wants are nothing, for you yourself are nothing.


that covers it pretty straight. exestentialism is that everything is nothing and that you are the only thing worth worrying about. so do what you want... cause nothing you do will matter. so be what you want. if you want a pizza, get off your fucking ass and go get a pizza. the other part is that sense everything is nothing, only you can effect yourself. only you make yourself sad, only you make yourself get in car wrecks. it takes alot of blame onto yourself.

existentialism is far easier to group yourself in........existentialisms main theory is thus "you exist, who cares why or from what you came, just know that you exist........do as you wish, for it matters not in the total realm of things; however, be prepared to accept the results of your actions in regards to humanity"

shy shy, your a skeptic... who question everything and believe in no such thing as truth. it's slightly more complex of a philosiphy than that... but you get the drift.

good i'm glad that i got a better explination of this. so know i now what you two were kind of talking about then. so in this case i wouldn't classify my self as a nihilism.

does nihilsm then fall under that category........uh, i forget the term, somewhat related to dualism.......you know, the philosophy that all of life is nothing but a dream or a movie we watch........we aren't real, that kind of thing?

even that has flaws in it's base casue we experience... thus we are something. we are real. so it's kind of like dualism there... but i don't like it so i don't talk about it. i know i'm real... and i can truthfully say that. you could just be a massive movie in my head... but it's still my head.

emotions are merely complex sensations, the only thing anyone can ever say is true. i feel therefore i am. this is epicureanism... which i just got done studying... so i can pop up alot of good shit.
