obesity's a funny thing. people get upset when you tell them that they're too heavy. why? i'd rather have someone tell me i was too heavy than that i was ugly. you can change your weight. there's no point in getting hurt. just change.
it may seem easy for me to say, but it wasn't.

I should add, I've seen pictures of you and you don't seem that large (Plus you have rat, have I told you yet that you rock for this? Unrelated I know, but I felt it should be mentioned) Quote:

I've never posted any pics of me, I don't have a digital camera of a scanner, but I DID have rats.
I found four baby rats in a nest after a neighbour killed their parents, and I raised them as my own....unrelated as well, but nevermind... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

i think that this is a farirly pointless thread. Yes obesitty is bad, but it does some times come down to genetics or even out side sources. I was a tiny kid my entire life then i got chemo and after ward i ended up gaining a lot of weight which iam having a hard time getting rid of. Plus what is considered obese needs to be looked at. I think if you are more then 25 pounds past what your ideal weight is that you are technically obese, but do to different body types if that person wass 25 pounds thinner they would look like they were from ethiopia. like me for my heaight my target weight is 125, but i have like the broad shoulders thick body type thing so when i was like 115 pounds i looked terrible when i first started gaining wight i actually looked better. so its a ll a matter of degrees in my mind. emo to english translations.

This thread however might actually help convince someone that their excessive weight might be unhealthy and perhaps they should do something about it. There was an original point (silverflame bitching about people talking shit about fatness), and then there is the point of everyone else (fatness is more than an aesthetic problem, it might be detrimental to your health).
And really, if you found it pointless, why would you then go on to share your story dealing with weight? Don't Drink and Park. Accidents cause people. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

because i'm all contradictory like that. and a lot of people see obeseity as that persons fault completely and totally and sometimes it is. but in some case like mine it was an outside factor. I have on of the smallest appetites of all my friends, i don't over eat i don't like junk food and i exersiise a lot and i'm still having trouble with weight loss because my body is fucked from being raped with chemicals so i could live. thats why i shared the story. I know t had a point but mostly people or just letting their prejudices hanf out and thats kinda annoying. emo to english translations.

I just got annoyed cause that was the second time today I saw you calling a thread pointless. Most of the threads here are, they're just people chatting, talking shit, and giving others a hard time. This thread however actually has a bit useful information in it. The unintentional weight gain issue was mentioned earlier in this thread. Nobody talked shit on silverflame until one person pointed out that she probably has(or will have) some health issues if she doesn't do something. (They even offered their support and invited her (and anyone really) to a weight loss thread at df.) Don't Drink and Park. Accidents cause people. I know exactly why you said this: because you felt the need to defend yourself to yourself. Do that shit offline, and stop trying to make us feel bad for the discussion.

Obesity is measured when past the maximum to take body shape into account. Also, there is always the disclaimer about sports people a the bottom and how it doesn't apply to increased muscle mass. Charts are just a guide.
These days at the doctors they tend to use body fat percentage scales, so there can be no heavy bones or muscle mass confusions.
I have a friend who looks skinny, wears small clothes, but put her on the scales and it's a shock. She weighs 160lbs and no one can see where. She literally does have, 'heavy bones', and this actually speeds her metabolism as they are more weight to drag around, just like how fat people burn more.
She is so lucky....... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I'm a tubby lard-arse. I accept this fact and relaise that I need ot be thinner to be healthier.
It's not attractive or would be attractive if I didn't have warped western dieals of beauty, its unnattractive and I'm trying to do something about it. It's unhealthy and unpleasent.
Neon "I've oft been told by learned friars
That wishing and the crime were one
And heaven punishes desires
As much as if the deed were done.
If wishing damns us, you and I
Are damned to all our hearts content.
Come then we may at least enjoy
Some pleasure for our punishment..."
