I'm just going to vomit up another thread for the bitch board because I'm having a bad day, and I really don't want to snap at the people around me any more. Hopefully venting here will give me a handle on things, because my loathing for the human race at large is on the high end.

I'm in college. You know, the place where people go to become sucessful members of society, to cast off the childish attitudes of yesteryear and forge ahead into the future, yadayadayada...

Today college has been worse than high school. I've lost count of the number of ignorant fuckheads who don't seem to be aware that there are thousands of other people on this campus and that they're being a hinderence. Like I ended up telling this one cow in the hallway, "If you were moving any slower you'd be standing still. If you can't manage to talk on your cellphone and walk at the same time then move the hell out of the way. Some of us have a class to get to."

Between people stopping in the middle of a crowded stairway to have a conversation, smokers standing right outside the door of the building, idiot faculty who have a class with 35 students placed in a room that seats 25, and my student gov't office mate (a 17 year old Running Start student from a local high school) who always wants me to hurry up on the office computer so she can use it to find a job at a local fast food place or supermarket, or email her friends back at the HS...well, I'm almost of a mind that a little population control wouldn't be a bad idea. I wouldn't miss most of them...all these white people all look alike to me anyway.

Whew...ok, I feel better now. Amazing what a little rambling post and listening to a little George Carlin can do to soothe the soul.

hate to tell you, but once you get out of college the world isn't much different. get used to dealing with the fuckheads now.

I'm well aware of that fact, thanks. I spent several years in the "real" world before heading back to college to finish up my education. However, outside of school I usually don't have to deal with idiocy this frequently.

luckily i avoided most of that at school. luckily the engineering/technology building has less bs in it then the rest of campus.
