So, last night I was flipping through the channels, and I come to find that the local pbs station broadcasts the BBC news, and I stopped. I stopped because they were talking about the tornado that hit north london, and what caused me to stop there was this one sentence "Even buildings that were structurally sound were damaged by the tornado" That is a surprise how? We are talking about a vortex with wind velocities at minimum worse than a Cat 5 hurricane, and you are shocked that anything in its path was damaged?

lol yeah...this is why I live in Michigan...in my area we get tornado warnings, and water spouts, but the last time we had an actual tornado was about 30-35 years ago...the worst we get is a snow storm, but that is never that bad either

Actually they really aren't. I mean hell they aren't as common place as they are made out to be, cept further south, I spent a lot of summers in Nebraska, and Iowa, and I am currently living in Iowa, I have only seen one tornado in all that time

yeah...my last job didn't pay much, and I used the money for things I needed to in the two-three days after I got it, so I didn't get to do anything with that, but that was when I was still in school and could only work on weekends at that place...but once I get a job now, I think I'll have more money to do stuff and hopefully I can find something to do

yeah I definently need good luck, I've been applying to places and looking around for the last 6-8 months...still no calls

I have been waiting 3 weeks for a background check to come back at some of the places I applied at, its starting to piss me off

I would be pissed off about that too
