I'm an au pair and I have been in the UK for 3 weeks. I'm from Germany and haven't found any freinds yet. I live in Newmarket that is near Cambridge. I like musik such as Blind Guardian, Helloween, Hammerfall, kind of "middle-age" metal (no idea what it is called in english) and many more.
Besides I like horror films, comedies and horror books. My favourite author is Stephen King.
I'd like to go dancing but I couldn't find a club near Newmarket that plays metal/gothic.

Maybe there is someone who wants to write emails or even meet for some weekend trips or just for talking.

oh...I like very much, is't different, but it's fun.
I did a lot of trips, i.g. to cambridge, Bury, history festival... but it's still a bit boring, doing all these things on my own.

I wanted to do a step out of germany and meet other "dark" people from other countrys. I looked for a nice board and found this one.

LOL!! no, please don't! I actually found those translations from a web site, and I knew they would be wrong. I learned a little German at school, but I could never converse fluently now.
I can about count to 13 and say where I live - in speak, but not type.

It's good that you found this board then this board is mostly American, although I am planning a British invasion - haha! It's strange how most forums are in the English language though, because I imagine a lot of German forums to be darker than this.
