heh i googled dark forums for the sake of it, and actually found dark forums! =D

but really, i didn't come here knowing anyone. but i've met some really cool people so far.

I believe I got here because the old, original Darkness.com went down and ended up slitting in to like 3(?) different sites - Darkness.com, Darkforum.com, and some other site. Looked around Darkness.com, saw nothing but douchebaggery, so I came here. It was a good place back in my earlier, high school days, but as of late it's just another forum site full of opinions and the assholes that back them.

I've found this site when I was still having depression.
I was attracted by all this.... hmmm "dark subculture" let's call it.
I just googled in dark forum and voila...I found this place.

I read somethings but I didn't get it too much - I didn't found the good things about this place.
Then after a couple of months I was having another depression attack... and by now I was just fucking fed up of it...
So in tryng to stop this shit and make my life better, it popped in my head that it would be a good ideea to join this place because here I could be understood, accepted and stuff.
So I wrote my kilometric long introduction and from then onward is history, it happened by itself.

That is all... I just wanna say that I love this place, it isn't what I hoped it is because it is much better.

I don't know, I don't believe that this site is only full of opinions and the assholes that back them.
I believe that this place is more filled of discussions and the special people that post them.

Just see the friendship subforum, the new user one, or the offtopic discussions forum.

so your depression is gone?

Not yet... gotten rid of it but it isn't as bad as it was.
I don't feel that intense unpleasant feelings and beeing obssed by the same thoughts that this world sucks and that I am injusticed by it.
I still kinda believe the same things but not just beeing so obssed with them, and not letting them hurt my soul.
I still got major emotionally changes from feeling good to feeling like shit and feeling I don't want to do anything ideeas.
I am how do they call it, hypersensible, and also a bipolar syndrome that is usually asociated with depression.

Anyway I didn't had major cronic depression.
I have been having this for... an year and something. It was just the start of it.

And since we are in the truth chapter:
I didn't went to any docs, I don't take any pills, (-these things could change although)
All I know is that I felt very unpleasent, very painfull in the middle of your soul, like shit, you can't describe that feeling.
I had this attacks for the period of an year and also the usual feeling that was in my heart wasn't unpleasnet and pesimistic and stuff.
And after a year I found out on the almighty net what is depression.
I got almost all of the symptoms things, and also the causes (like stress and shit).
And on tests about depression I got positive with room to spare.

So that's my goody story... now you know as much as I do.
And yeah I'm still a little depressif and crazy around here.

And also the way that this site healed me a little is simple.
I spitted my emotions and thinkings in my writtings.
Cause when you hold them in you they only get worse. (and also beeing all alone, with no one to get you)
And also now I am more detached, distanced from them, and accepting this non-sense, much pain, unjust world... you got the ideea.

I was told that I needed some controlled social interaction. After that, a simple search for "forums" brought me here! I saw lots of fun sounding names, so I decided to sign up.

Why thank you! I'd say it's more "controlled" than face-to-face interaction in that it's easier to handle potential disagreements that might come up before they become full-fledged arguments.

I cannot for the life of me remember how I found this site. But, ah, the memories, which I mostly forget...
I met my ex-fiance on here, and...hmm...that's about it.

i finally decided i should join. rather than just read.

I followed Wicked Lady to darkness.com when we were both in high school, at The Academy.

It was fucking hilarious. We used to use it to talk between classes and when Pyrric was home. I think we annoyed people with it. We had fun though... a lot of the AAST kids ended up here.

The monkeys made me do it.

I added it to 'My Yahoo' page. I searched for either 'dark topics', 'dark
discussions' or 'dark talk'.

And came upon this forum. Well, I joined because I'm a dark person - most
of the time. Plus, I like to be around dark-minded people like myself, who
will talk about anything that strikes their fancy. Something real.
Confrontation is what I love the most. Where you can feel right at home
to state your views, opinions, thought and get back honest replies -
meaning no one gets their feelings hurt, but there are touchy subjects.

Depending on how sensitive you are, this site can cause you agony or joy!!
