Good day. Well, for some, I'm sure, but not for me. Today is another day in this wonderful institution we call the United States Navy. Please note that I say "wonderful" with the most sarcasm one could possibly put into a word or a phrase.

My job in the Navy was simple, easy and to the point. Originally, I am to be in charge of the parts that make a ship run. If something breaks, people come to me for what they need to fix it. Easy right?

Aboard each Naval ship, there is a certain topic called Damage Control. Say for example, my ship was in the Persian Gulf (been there done that), and an Iraqi fighter jet attacked my ship with missles, bullets, etc. Say the missle broke through the skin of the ship. It is up to the crew to be able to fix it. Us, no one else...Damage Control. This prospect goes for flooding, fires, toxic gas, etc....

So naturaly, learning the technique quick, and becoming good on it. The people on the higher chain said to themselves "Let's put this guy on everything we can get him on, from dealing with Helo Ops, to the Fire Squad, etc." (there are actually different names for these, but they have such an altered name for them you wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about.

Today is my day with the Helo Ops, and let me tell you...as OzzY Osbourne once said "No Rest For The Wicked". It appears that I will be up at all hours of the night tonight for Helo Ops, from 11:30 to 2:30 and so on, and so forth.

I do have internet being out to sea, but the problem is...this connection is slower than any dial up connection out there. In fact, this connection makes dial up seem like DSL. MY point is this...if anyone is going to be up tonight, and wouldn't mind emailing me to keep me awake, and to keep up an interesting conversation. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, by all means, PM me, and I will gladly give you my email here on the ship.

I will stop boring this board with these feeble conflicts I seemed face with. I appreciate your time in reading this format.
