“This Girls Life”

You sacrificed my innocence,
My body is but you’re lamb.
Your touch is like a billion pinpricks,
A touch of a man?
Bare, stripped of my security,
Violation, you stole my purity.
Heaven’s pearl gates shut in my face, helpless.
Tears drip like leaky faucets as you pry me open,
My insides tear.
Pleads muffle beneath your skin I’m floating in limbo.
Where have you taken me?
A crashing crescendo.

A stream of blood freely flowed,
From once was called the Virgin Gates.
My pale youthful flesh,
Now marinated in blood, semen and hate.
The rest I don't quite remember
As I fell unconscious to your wear and tear.
Awakened by pounding water.
In the shower, you left me there.
Life, you bled out of me
Now dry of all there was to be.
An empty emotionless shell,
Crying to be clean

Now I’m a secret well kept
With addictions, pushing my life aside
Raping my veins with a little slick prick
Ejaculating illusions of happiness once denied
Ode to heroin, you make me flow
Down life’s spiral, content I go
Around, around
This cycle I ride
Madness of my becoming
Thinking back to the day, that day I died

The minutes feel like days
Within this dope infested haze
A marionette dangling from controlled strings
Consequences of my emotions
Are not mine to bear
I tasted death a few times
Death didn’t care
Ignored, I kept up the use
This bodily temple
Made to abuse

Ever since that day
It has been a never ending decent
Into my self-destruction
Men in white came to me in the middle of the night
I was taken away for my absentee mind
Weren’t my parents oh so kind?
I lied, stole but they made me cry
Six months, again locked away
Assault on an abusive ex was my charge
Even though I ended up getting what he deserved

Six months past in the county jail
My body tired and oh so frail
Years of abuse left me unstable
Mental and physical am I unable?
To live a life that had nothing but pain
Is this sane to your understanding?
Either way I’m still here
After all, why wouldn’t I be?
Day to day it will take
To make me believe in me once again

“Angels Bleed”

Beauty
Through and through such as yours
But yet, to blind to see
My Angel bleeds

Proven scars
On the surface of your frailties
Bled crimson tears dried brown
My Angel bleeds

Helpless
You are not for I am here
Though in a faraway land for you can’t see my tears
My Angel bleeds

For your Pain
I’ll see you through
My love will always acknowledge that
Angels bleed

I am lost
On this path
Of spiritual growth
Unhappy and feeling quite empty
Hoping to find the flame that would set a fire within
So I can go on with my existence on this earth
To move on
Enlightened

Look around
And what do I see
With these butterfly eyes
It all seems to be
With the shadow of the doubt
Looming overhead
Like a fresh pink newborn
Who’s slate has been cleansed
In this world of mixed emotion
And uncertainty
Even with every brand new outlook
That each new morning brings
My optimism fading
And everyday is beginning to become one in the same

Why must I feel?
The Way I feel
A Hatred that spawned
My mental self destruction
I have lost my true self
Under self absorbed lies
And self approved delusions
My only true enemy
The man in the mirror
Nothing's Angel

My self-hate
Like wild fires
Spreading throughout the conscious thought

Just because I have Angel in my name doesn't mean I am a chick...You know what they say about assume...makes an ass out of you and me...and I change my mind...I don't want my work in the book.
