Based on what's happening now, I think th Republican party will gain another senator or two in the 2006 election. I think they will lose a few seats in the House, but not the majority. The losses will come from the midwest because Bush wants to cut farm subsidies.

I think Bush style Social Security reform will happen, but Bush won't get everything he wants. It will be a watered down version of his plan. I have no prediction about the possibility of a tax increase in the plan. It could go either way. I can see Bush going along with that if he thinks he has to, to get the private accounts.

Who do you think is next on our shit list in the War On Terror? Iran or Syria? I can't guess right now. He's verbally leaning on both of them.

What are your predictions? I think it might be entertaining to have them all in one thread that we can easily come back to later to see how accurate we were.

I'd say Syria is next on the shit list; I think it's possible that recent bombing in Beruit was done by the CIA or whatever in order to make a case for war with Syria.

...and I also predict that the Green party will win it's first seat in parliment next election, seeing as they got 4.3% of the national vote last election thereby gaining official party status.

I think they're gonna have to fight both countries.
The solidarity between muslims is very high,so i doubt both country will look and wait for their turn.

Propably syria,it's closer to israel and it has a smaller army.
If they attacked iran first,then syria would be like a annoying little bug.

But doesn't really mather as both countries are no match for the US.
