I voted for Edwards in the poll, I just favor him; he's the classic democratic american president, representing a nice, comfortable zone; my grandmother was a staunch democrat and until hillary i generally agreed with a lot of what the democrats were doing, my life reflected that.
However Ron Paul is intriguing, he has an almost grass roots movement of support; it's impressive that people from my generation are standing up to support him. It's been a long time since i've seen this sort of support for a candidate, Mr. Clinton was the last one that seemed to stir the thirty somethings this excitedly.
I watched him on the republican debate for a bit, he was the most engaging of the four, he seemed to have used less hmms and haahs between thoughts. While keeping my attention when he spoke, I'm a sucker for chutzpah though. The other options on both sides seem rehearsed or extreme; in my opinion.
as for the electoral college; I'm an idealist so I'll still vote.
