In the US, when a person is sentenced to death, they have unlimited opportunities for appeals. After a period of more than 20 years, I'd say he'd had ample time to prove his case.

Yeah, it did the day his trial was decided. Then the margin dissapeared somewhere around 20 years after excessive appeals. He was guilty. He got what he deserved. Justice was met.
