see, that's the thing about you. im 25 and was considered but wasnt informed about an exec position. i have no staff because i dont need them. i dont work in a conventional kitchen. my boss was an exec for 6 years, has a degree from fci (french culinary institute) has been in the business for over 25 year and he just turned 41 yesterday, a very competant and expierence man. he was hired as the f&b director, and fired the exec, took the position because he's a control freak and doesnt want to promote anyone. i dont care what the "new guys" do, because its not my job, its another department.

oh, yeah, after exec, he went to f&b, he didnt turn exec until 27.
