I n 08 youre cooked again. | Bush is going to spend the next two years highlighting how liberal HE is. Don't miss Rush tomorrow. I sense an anti-Bush rant of epic proportions in the works.

Poor Rush, he wasn't a happy camper today. Me? I was smiling all day long. Not because of any particular happiness about Democratic victory. Just because I like to hear Rush being unhappy and flustered.

Did you guys hear Savage bashing Rush now that was good radio
Dyshade why do we keep track? So the other side can say I told you so
Bring the army home or untie there hands and let them destroy the enemy but sitting around waiting to get killed does nothing but allow the terrorists, that couldnt harm us in the first place (the loan dude with an iud), kill US citizens.
Billy you and Bush scare me- Bin Laden is unimportant to the War on Terror and Iraq is a big distraction for terrorists. The terrorists/insurgents in Iraq lack the planning, connections, leadership, orginazational skills and resources to strike at the US thats why tad da they are striking in Iraq. Bin Laden on the other hand and those like him fit that description
Lastly freedom and the right to govern must be earned not given

hmm, i disagree with you on a theoretical level, burningbush.
history does have a purpose: to teach the not only what was but what could have been and should have been. the winner effectively has every right to decide what future generations get to hear... that's the prize.
and the right to govern and be free is innate, we have it naturally. we don't have to do anything to be free, and submit ourselves to governments for the betterment of society. those who would deny us our freedoms (this does not include governments, by the way) have to earn the right to do so. and those who would not submit themselves to any government must, in a sense, earn the right to do so... might is right. you have the right, but others might try to take that away. still, that doesn't mean you have to work to keep it... see what i'm saying?
bin laden the man is of minimal significance. bin laden the idea is a huge part of the war on terror. whether we find and punish bin laden the man is irrelevant as long as we fight bin laden the idea. does any of this make any sense? Lastly freedom and the right to govern must be earned not given | Bin Laden is living in a fucking cave, any terrorist with a brain in hs head knows not to work with OBL, instead theyre working on thier own copy cat terror networks. But instead of focusing on that all the dumbfucks want to bring OBL to justice and pretend this is all about him. Its wrong, sorry. Its wrong and also a distraction from the war on terror.

he was in a cave before during and after whats your point. even if he was on the moon he could still cordinate attack given todays tech. Its the leaders that make the diffrence in any goverment, group or orginization. How do you kill a snake?
apo - i was being somwhat sarcastic in regards to history
and the right to govern and freedom is far from free a price was paid for your freedom and still is being paid in lots of ways ask the cops who get shot at protecting your freedom. If you are submitting yourself to goverment rule you are not governing you are being governed. If you vote and rund for office you are particpating, if you get elected then your governing. There is an econmic cost in campain dollars to get elected and there is a life cost in those people who die and have died protecting the system in which they believe

Seems to me like the CIA had a presence there for many years after the war with russia
If the new Iraqi Government has its way there will be no American Presence there after we leave.... and that would be a good thing.... let the middle east brew in its own defication.... we have allowed thier religious wars to effect us for too long.... let them bleed each other.... we should set up strong defensive perimeters around the middle east in countries that are our allies and let them kill each other.... they will do it far more rapidly than we can or will....
As I stated earlier.... once we catch these terrorists another group will spring up fast as they can.... you cannot win against terrorism BUT you can certainly contain it with a strong defense. You realize if we leave iraq, Iran will take over iraq, commit horrible atrocities on its people far worse than you could ever dream of americans doing, then take all its oil? This is not hypothetical, this is what would happen.

I wish I could be. Here are the possible candidates for the republican presidential nomination in 08, who I will NOT vote for under any circumstances.
John McCain (closet liberal, and lying sack of shit)
Mitt Romney (any republican who is capable of winning in Mass. cannot be trusted)
Rudy Giuliani (other than being a law and order guy, he's a total liberal)
Bill Frist (another lying sack of shit, needs to be pimp slapped for his poorly disguised manuevering on the amnesty bill)
Mike Huckabee, Gov. of Arkansas, is also running, and I don't know anything about him. George Allen just got knocked out of it, which is a shame, I would have voted for him for president. Tom Tancredo might run, and if he does, I'll vote for him in the primary, but he doesn't have much of a chance of winning the nomination.
And that's where we are. Odds are 2008 is going to suck even more than this year.
