The terrorists/insurgents in Iraq lack the planning, connections, leadership, orginazational skills and resources to strike at the US thats why tad da they are striking in Iraq. history does have a purpose: to teach the not only what was but what could have been and should have been. the winner effectively has every right to decide what future generations get to hear... that's the prize.
and the right to govern and be free is innate, we have it naturally. we don't have to do anything to be free, and submit ourselves to governments for the betterment of society. those who would deny us our freedoms (this does not include governments, by the way) have to earn the right to do so. and those who would not submit themselves to any government must, in a sense, earn the right to do so... might is right. you have the right, but others might try to take that away. still, that doesn't mean you have to work to keep it... see what i'm saying?

If you are submitting yourself to goverment rule you are not governing you are being governed. If you vote and rund for office you are particpating, if you get elected then your governing. There is an econmic cost in campain dollars to get elected and there is a life cost in those people who die and have died protecting the system in which they believe

Mitt Romney (any republican who is capable of winning in Mass. cannot be trusted)
Rudy Giuliani (other than being a law and order guy, he's a total liberal)
Bill Frist (another lying sack of shit, needs to be pimp slapped for his poorly disguised manuevering on the amnesty bill)

Mike Huckabee, Gov. of Arkansas, is also running, and I don't know anything about him. George Allen just got knocked out of it, which is a shame, I would have voted for him for president. Tom Tancredo might run, and if he does, I'll vote for him in the primary, but he doesn't have much of a chance of winning the nomination.

And that's where we are. Odds are 2008 is going to suck even more than this year.
