Thats too bad... Reagan was a good Republican President..... mainly... he was a Republican tried and true...... and he did some very good things.... though in his last few years he suffered from Alzhiemers and was taken advantage of by Bush Sr......

Alzhiemers is a cruel disease.....

In a way though it was better for him.... he would be ashamed of the way the Republican Party is being used.....

He was diagnosed in 1993 with Alzheimers, and Bush Sr. was not the President then, so how did he take advantage of him?

W's major accomplishments have been vintage Reagan, with his pro-growth tax cuts, and strong foreign policy.

Ahhh.. he was diagnosed yet he was showing symptoms in 1985..... I know how Alzhiemers works through personal experience... My Grandmother suffered through it..... and finally died from it... she was not diagnosed with it until several years after the symptoms began..... it starts slowly.... with lucid moments.... confusion.... etc etc.... many people relate this as occuring with Reagan from 1985 on....

and lets not argue here.... he was a great Republican President.... the last Great one..... who did a wonderful job while coherent......

My grandfather died of it too, so I am intimately familiar with it.

There is no proof that Reagan wasn't sharp all through his two terms. His writings, which have been published recenly show this.

I will not argue the point here... sorry... but I refuse too....

Reagan did a much better job as Pres than he did as Governor of California..... I grew up in California..... shit... see... I am already starting what I see to be another disagreement... NM.... hehe.... we will leave it as that I think he did a good job as Pres....

I think this is true.

I loved Reagan. I joined the Army in 86 because of the patriotism he inspired in myself and most other Americans.

I can't say I'm sorry he's gone. I'm glad he finally passed on. It's better for him.
