MONTPELIER, Vt. — A group of Vermont teen-agers threw rocks at a uniformed female Vermont National Guard sergeant last week, in the latest example of a service member facing hostility in the United States.

The teens blocked the sergeant as she went into a store and again on the way out, yelling obscenities at her along the way, Roosevelt said. The group also threw small stones at her car as she drove away, he added.



Get out the video cameras, collect evidence and prosecute. Then get some lawyers and sue these peacenik organizations.

Peacenick is the wrong term for these people. There are some that actually do want peace, and want our soldiers brought home, etc, but these people are doing NOTHING helpful. They are a detriment to society.

A group of Vermont teenagers ....You're gonna sue 'peacenik' organizations over the actions of juveniles? Lock the little bastards up for what they did...it doesn't matter if they're jumping on the bandwagon to use as an excuse....and I highly doubt that they were acting on behalf of any organization.

To describe anything in more details,.. is well,. to hard for these people.

They even like to repeat history...
30 yrs ago, when the US was in the middle of the Cold War, the term of "communist" was applied, even though most of the population couldnt even comprehend the actual ideological stucture that is Communism.
So today... once again people are uneducated, and resort back to generalised terms such as 'Peacenik', to replace the oudated term of "communist".

So sixgun,.. do continue with the generalised terms...
Socialist, Communist, Terrorsit, Peacenik, Activist...
only do consider that some of us will actually consider some of these as compliments.

There are some massive contradictions going on here as well . . .

So are you somehow telepathic and you KNOW that these teens were messing with this female soldier because of an anti-war sentiment? Maybe they just don't like her.

She said that she believed that they had taken part in a peace demonstration--but does she know anything for sure? Nope.

By the way, FOX is perhaps the most government-biased news orginization in the US...not necessarily through direct ties, but through kissing up...
