| Over 400 Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007 -
12-21-07
I've been saying for years, that there isn't such a beast as Man-made Global warming and that the Kyoto treaty was only meant to be a way to punish successful countries.
When I was young, in the 70's they preached about global cooling and how by the year 2000, we would all have to live like eskimo's. The northern half of the US would be uninhabitable due to glaciers.
It never made sense to me. And now that it has been proven that the mathmatical formula used to "prove" global warming was wrong, the whole religion is falling apart. .: U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works :: Minority Page :. if you like at the history of the planet, there have been many stages of warming and cooling periods. it happens, but as usual humanity needs an explantion for everything. Though in all honesty I can't say we are killing the planet...we are just killing ourselves. Even if we destroy everything and humanity is wiped out, the Earth will come back as it has shown time and time again. You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

You hit it dead on, GW is a religion for morons and liberals. Part of why its so successful is because of older assholes who always say
"IT DOESNT SNOW AS MUCH AS WHEN I WAS A KID!!!"
No moron, it snows just as much if not more, you are just nostalgically remembering all the fun snow storms you got to make snowmen in. In reality they were just as rare or common as they are today, but when you forget all the days it didnt snow and remember merely the ones that did, of course it seems like it snowed MORE back then then it does now.

...there's definitely less water than we've had in past years in this area, the drought conditions, low water table, drying up lakes and out of season bugs blossoming, birds returning to early with flowers coming out even earlier and never quite getting seeded, the bees are still frozen...spring by febuary, no snow by may and more cold dry air than wet, slightly warm and snowy, not to mention a rise in diseases once thought wiped out in the industrialized world...heck, we even have the west nile virus in this area now and next summers fire season is expected to be more red than last summers!
man made or not, there's serious climate changes going on...but as a few have pointed out, it's nothing new...just something we're alive to be witnessing. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

And noone denied there was climate warming trends, just like there is also global cooling trends, its NOT man made though. If it was, then there would need to be a better explanation because Mars is warming up too.

it gets even more interesting, i was reading maxim(the sarah michelle gellar cover), and it seems the straight that would make a quick shipping route way up north is finally thawing enough to allow thru way traffic, resulting in a political stance who owns it, it seems canada and russia have the strongest claims thus far, but some seem to think the eu will get involved soon.
i couldn't find the maxim article on line, but this will do. Martech Polar - Polar News
i suppose they're all just reminiscening about a time there was more ice up there? To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Who were these four hundred plus scientists? What are their credentials? What's their evidence? Their counter-evidence? Their arguments? A blind appeal to authority (scientists say so!) is useless and exactly the problem you ought to be complaining about coming from the other side.
Weather patterns have been very odd lately. While I'm not convinced that mankind is responsible, the idea is hardly without plausibility. The Earth is massive, but so is humanity. We have already altered the face of the planet significantly. When people talk of the freedom of writing, speaking or thinking I cannot choose but laugh. No such thing ever existed. No such thing now exists; but I hope it will exist. But it must be hundreds of years after you and I shall write and speak no more.

The actual report is linked from the link I included above. I suggest reading it.
The names are included on that along with a list of their credentials.
However the basic facts remain the same. The mathmatical equation (BMP I think they call it, but they also refer to it as the hockey stick) has beem proven inaccurate by NASA. If the math they base the theory on is wrong, then what about the rest of it? Pain is Nature's way of saying "At least your still alive!"

But reading things is hard. Don't you have a Youtube clip that answers the same question or something?
If the equation is inaccurate, then it will have to be adjusted and reexamined. It's hardly an excuse to throw the entire debate out the window. We didn't start assuming the Earth was flat just because people realized it wasn't football-shaped as once thought. When people talk of the freedom of writing, speaking or thinking I cannot choose but laugh. No such thing ever existed. No such thing now exists; but I hope it will exist. But it must be hundreds of years after you and I shall write and speak no more.

| That's exactly the point. The UN and others, such as the Goreocal, think it is a forgone conclusion. They say it's a fact but they don't have the facts correct.
As for a YouTube link, since that is a report submitted to the UN, there won't be one. However, this may help peak your interest. GUBA - Global Warming? or Global Governance?

I have. There's not a height from which the chunks of Earth covered by city look the same as relatively pristine land, only one at which the land becomes blurred and blends into the sea. I'd like to know what height you think it becomes indistinguishable at, because this doesn't match my experience at all. Google Earth actually moved me significantly closer to being a tree hugger for seeing what a huge percentage of the Earth's surface humanity takes up. When people talk of the freedom of writing, speaking or thinking I cannot choose but laugh. No such thing ever existed. No such thing now exists; but I hope it will exist. Check that out sometime.

Who cares about global warming? What are you gonna do about it anyways? The world is gonna do what it wants when it wants. Scientist or no one else can do a damn thing about any of it. www.hottopikgothiks.com

Global warming wasnt man made. Its a fact that other planets are heating up also.. I guess it must be the SUV's on jupiter causing that. Actually, its a solar problem.
Man made contribution to global warming is so minuscule it doesnt even matter.
Enjoy your CO2 tax, once they start with it. -_-
