Just wondering because no one ever seems to be able to give an honest answer to it. Pain is Nature's way of saying "At least your still alive!"

Actually, I really want someone to be able to answer that question.
I've never heard of a single accomplishment by Obama.
He's never sponsered major legislation, never lead a company, never been a senior senator so he hasn't led a committee.
so what qualifies him as leader of the US? Pain is Nature's way of saying "At least your still alive!"

Congratulations, you just pointed out every single talking point that every other republican/non-democrat ever has pointed out. You're really on the cutting edge!

referring to it as a talking point fails to invalidate it.
He has not leadership experience. So what makes him fit to lead something so large as the U.S.?

Just wondering because no one ever seems to be able to give an honest answer to it. | He's accomplished nothing, and that's why I want to vote for him. The next four years are going to suck no matter who the president is, and I'd rather have the liberal democrat black guy blamed for it than the republicans. Blaming Bush for things will only carry him through the first year, then it will all be on him. When he raises taxes, wrecks the economy even more than it is, throws open the gates for the Mexicans, and signs on to all the United Nations global carbon tax bullshit, sane Americans might start to wake up a little bit. Also, like Rush says, the race guilt pimping will only get worse during an Obama presidency, which is another wake up call that Americans need to get.
Coincidentally, Juan McCain will do all those things himself if he wins, so we really don't have a choice on any issue other than the war in this election, and the fucking war isn't enough for me to excuse all of McCain's other flaws.
Obama will suck mightily, and that's exactly what I want from him.

I love how hillary always seems to mention that being the first lady is experience enough to be pres.
I don't think we have any good choices with this election, no one will be that great. However, McCain will pump more of us into iraq/trashcanistan/probably iran next, and I dont want that to happen, so I'll choose the lesser of 3 evils and go for obama. At least, unlike our current president, he's a decent public speaker. I just hope some of these changes that he's wanting so much will actually help us out.
So yeah, we're fucked either way, but I get the feeling Obama will fuck us the least. And if nothing else, I'm tired of having rich, old, white, christian men as president, and I'd like someone else to give it a try. ________________________________

Yeah, because being a socialist nanny state is definitely better than winning the war.
I'm tired of people saying they're tired of rich old white men being president. Let me break it down for you.
Rich people are successful people. People who have done things right in their life and know how to get results. Good qualities for a president.
Old people are usually smarter and more experienced, also a good quality for a president.
As far as race and gender, what does that have to do with anything, are you a racist?
You should elect the best candidate, not base your choice on age, gender, race, and income level.

Unfortunately, there were only three good candidates in the republican field, and none of them stood a chance.
Tom Tancredo: Just like Bush except for immigration, definitely a step in the right direction.
Ron Paul: This year I had the chance to vote for a libertarian in the republican primary, and I took it. Foreign policy was the ONLY issue on which I disagreed with him, and I'll take that.
Duncan Hunter: The man is hard core on fighting the war the way it should be fought, and immigration. He's also against free trade and globalist international organizations, but doesn't take it to the same extreme that Ron Paul does. I hope he runs again after McCain goes down in flames this year.
We were doomed to the nanny state with any of the republican "front runners", they were all closet liberals in one way or another. Quote:

| Yes, you already knew I was a racist, and I can't understand this naive outlook on the world. Even if you aren't a racist, you can't simply dismiss the effects of real racism like that. It's going to be pervasive with an Obama administration. The liberal newsmedia will be out there calling any member of congress who has a strong disagreement with him on policy a racist. It will be oppressive. Look for Sharpton and Jesse Jackass to be even louder and more annoying.
However, if the first black president was a conservative, none of that would happen, and he'd be called an Uncle Tom or an Oreo daily.
