A 25-year-old from Georgia who was distraught over President Bush's re-election apparently killed himself at ground zero.

If your identity and sense of purpose in life is so tied to what happens in Washington DC that an election can make you suicidally depressed, then you deserve whatever you get.

This is like the guy who jumped in the lion's part of a zoo and tried to convert them to his religion...

Finally, some one who knows how to protest! Cause thats all anti bush people need, is to kill themselves so they cant vote,that way all of us that are alive have to deal with him.....thanks! rest in peace, I mean wow you think some one would try to take out Bush at this rate, ......remember that one guy who shot at the white house some years back?

i'm more of a vengeful type, i'm eager to be alive and laughing as america falls apart, leaving bush looking for someone to blame for his failure to make america strong, and then i can go forth saying "i told you so".

i'll then retire to the wilds of montana and sit on the top of teakettle mountain eager to shoot any moron who comes that way that voted for bush...maybe i'll join a militia, they have guns...and don't have to vote to keep them.

I saw that video; what a nutjob... I heard a translation of what he was screaming about, and I don't think he was trying to convert the lions, he was doing a remake of the "Daniel in the Lion's Den" story. I'm wishing he'd gone in there before feeding time.

As for the guy in this story, it sounds like someone needed a renewal on their Prozac subscription. No sympathy for him here, though I do feel for his mother.

Why does everyone have this strange impression that Montana is some desert, barren, empty place where all the cowboys roam. Seriously, it's not like that.

As for the poor sap that killed himself... wow. Some people can't seem to figure that it really doesn't effect the everyman so much no matter who the leader is. Certainly, it is absolutely annoying, but it shouldn't be a life or death thing.

i'm amazed by the lack of people who will take a stand in america.

i don't know, i've always lived in the northwest, at the base of teakettle in the flathead valley...we had a lot of cowboys around, but as long as they had their sheep, they generally left the small group of seattle influenced people alone.

the militia in kalispell did actually have a plan for a mass attack on the local judges that found them guilty of not paying taxes...that made headlines.

Well i read there was no note, and he was to be married, maybe he didnt like his wife to be and couldnt get out of the wedding=P no really without a note, maybe he was just tired of stupid people and how the world is and thats why he choose ground zero, just cause he was pissed bush won doesnt mean thats why.

I think it's a good thing he died. He obviously didn't want to see Bush in action or hear what Bush has to say; and no one wants to hear what this liberal weener wants to say. Wam bam, done and over.
