Kerry wants to stop the outsourcing of our jobs (many outsourced are entry-level) as well as bringing back as many as possible...give tax credit to corporations who are NOT outsourcing jobs, and wants the minimum wage increased to $7/hr over a short span of time. Hey, bread is a good time for me...a-woodle-oo-doo, singing bread is a good time for EVERYbody...

Kerry did help the fish though. You have to give him that. | Maybe it's just me, but I always assumed that a president had a little bit more power than a senator.

Kerry, who is not yet, nor has ever been president, can support something but has a much lesser chance of things getting done about it because he isn't the president and his party hasn't controlled Congress for quite some time now.
Did you ever think about how many bills go through the house and senate that are voted down? That's an overwhelming amount of bills. I'd like to see the success rates of every senator, past and present, on getting their bills voted into law, and then maybe you can start making a case. Until that point (have fun compiling the list) you're just blowing hot air. | Yes, it's amazing that over 20 years, Kerry has so little that he can point to, while Bush has done more than Clinton did over 8 years, in just 3...
Kerry was there with a Democrat House, Senate, and President, still his name is on virtually nothing.
Makes you wonder.... | |

That putting his name on things just to put his name on things wasn't important to him? That investigating the MIA/POW bit in the Vietnam war might be a little bit more important than having his name on pork bill #149524 was a little more important? Yeah, he was a sucky senator. Yeah, he was a sucky senator. | That's a pretty slim record for 20 years. Not exactly a go-getter, is he?

Investigation takes more time and effort than negotiating pork spending and pay increases, it seems. Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."

And has no relevance to this discussion. Next? Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."
