private accounts...that's an idea i could agree with, i'd happily let them keep all my taxes they take out of paychecks now, put it into an account and let it be used for medical when my children are young, give me an option to shift the needs of that account to their education...at that point the whole ideal of getting a good paying job, paying for their own insurance and being able to do what i, did not in life...would satisfy me.

i can do fine on my own...i know better than to try and climb a tree, but i don't like the idea of my children not being able to be children...because accidents happen, and i can't afford those.

my point is that you are already paying for welfare, we all are...

i have been looking into this fair tax thing...maybe that could be an opportunity to balance out some of the system between those who can afford medical, those who can't and those who rely on the government to provide it for them...

that's one of the reason's i'm so frustrated that i don't have any medical...maybe it is a little bit of a green eyed monster that these people get everything handed to them for having babies, while my husband and i work, take care of our two child family, the best we can...and still are lacking one last basic need, for our children.

frankly i think Jordyn is comendable she apparently has managed to keep a family togther under difficult circumstances

however i dont think we should just be giving stuff away nor do I think I should be responsible for insureing that her family or any other enjoy's life (as Jordyn put it) welfare and all that other junk is killing this country it makes people lazy and fosters an attitude of failure and despair.

we enjoy our life, because we choose too...that has nothing to do with the medical system being so...outrageously unbalanced, in such an industrialized country...even people with everything, can be incapable of enjoying life.

Alright listen, I worked until I wasn't able to work anymore while pregnant with my daughter, my husband worked as well but we couldn't afford the bills my pregnancy was racking up. It's not my fault you have nothing better to bitch about, buddy.
In truth, the state of indiana paid for my shit, not you, not anyone else on here, and quite honestly, my ex is paying for it now, it's part of the child support decree. Now, had I been able to work and retain my own insurance, I wouldn't have needed the medicaid.

hmmm choices arent we lucky that we can make them....even if some of them were bad.......I wonder what other choices you could make or have made about your current lack of healthcare insurance. You could make a choice now to get it the other approxiametly 70% of people that make under $20k manage to get it, when you actually look at the numbers it really isnt that egregious anyways. I wish I had the choice to pay or not pay for welfare ect. I think a large portion of America would actually choose to help you out (I know I would give some to welfare) if they had a choice its the not being able to choose part that sucks
