I can't think of a worse Red vs. Blue political situation than this one:
Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton
How do you choose the lesser of two evils in that situation? Shadowborn To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I could see Condi running before Jeb. I still think Giuliani would be a decent choice for the Reps. Maybe McCain. But still, the possibility of a President Gingrich horifies me to no end. But still, the possibility of a President Gingrich horifies me to no end. | The next Republican presidential candidate will be a real conservative because the base will revolt if he or she isn't. If Condi is a real conservative, she'll win the primary overwhelmingly, we don't know much about her besides her views on foreign policy, which are good. Giuliani and McCain can not win the nomination in the Republican party today, Giuliani is a liberal, Northeastern republican, and he's smart enough to know he doesn't have a chance. McCain pissed off every conservative in the republican party with his behavior during the confirmation fight of some of the lower court appointments, and they will not forget that during the primary.
Start looking at Sen. George Allen of Virginia, though I'm hoping Tom Tancredo can make a good showing.

Giuliani would be my hope, though I don't think there's much chance of him winning the nomination. I like the idea of a liberal republican being in the white house. Either way it would be interesting to see him in the mix. He keeps saying that he's not running next year, but he'll think about it in a couple years. And, I think if he played his media right, he could easily win the election. Especially against Hillary. (Course to make it to the election...) Don't Drink and Park. Accidents cause people. Bush is a liberal republican. Spend spend spend spend, lets start a new war on black poverty, welcome to the new welfare state. we need an old time conservative who believes in cutting spending.

Clinton on the other hand who cut welfare was a more mdoerate democrat. Although he did like expanding government too, although not as much as Bush.

Clinton is not a moderate, he's a flaming liberal, but he was obsessed with the opinion polls, so that curbed much of his liberalism.

(Course to make it to the election...) | Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you were a Libertarian. If that's true, then why would you want a left leaning anybody in the White House? Conservative republicans are the closest thing to Libertarian that you can get in mainstream politics, which is one of the reasons I like them.
