The BBC report on the blog (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/3523629.stm) states that "the site's organisers know from checking their technical reports that people from Downing Street have been inspecting the site. "

Might be useful for getting the facts with only one layer of spin (the government's) rather than two (government and media).
