Osama Bin Laden on his rational and methodology of terror.
I find this so chilling because he points out why our weaknesses make us so vulnerable and guess what our weaknesses are?
All that we have mentioned has made it easy for us to provoke and bait this administration. All that we have to do is to send two mujahidin to the furthest point east to raise a piece of cloth on which is written al-Qaida, in order to make the generals race there to cause America to suffer human, economic, and political losses without their achieving for it anything of note other than some benefits for their private companies.
This is in addition to our having experience in using guerrilla warfare and the war of attrition to fight tyrannical superpowers, as we, alongside the mujahidin, bled Russia for 10 years, until it went bankrupt and was forced to withdraw in defeat.
All Praise is due to Allah.
So we are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy. Allah willing, and nothing is too great for Allah.
That being said, those who say that al-Qaida has won against the administration in the White House or that the administration has lost in this war have not been precise, because when one scrutinises the results, one cannot say that al-Qaida is the sole factor in achieving those spectacular gains.
Rather, the policy of the White House that demands the opening of war fronts to keep busy their various corporations - whether they be working in the field of arms or oil or reconstruction - has helped al-Qaida to achieve these enormous results.
And so it has appeared to some analysts and diplomats that the White House and us are playing as one team towards the economic goals of the United States, even if the intentions differ.
And it was to these sorts of notions and their like that the British diplomat and others were referring in their lectures at the Royal Institute of International Affairs. [When they pointed out that] for example, al-Qaida spent $500,000 on the event, while America, in the incident and its aftermath, lost - according to the lowest estimate - more than $500 billion.
Meaning that every dollar of al-Qaida defeated a million dollars by the permission of Allah, besides the loss of a huge number of jobs.
As for the size of the economic deficit, it has reached record astronomical numbers estimated to total more than a trillion dollars.
And even more dangerous and bitter for America is that the mujahidin recently forced Bush to resort to emergency funds to continue the fight in Afghanistan and Iraq, which is evidence of the success of the bleed-until-bankruptcy plan - with Allah's permission.

This isn't chilling. It's pathetic. There hasn't been another attack because they can't organize a new one. The mighty Bin Laden is reduced to releasing tapes.
As for the cost, yeah, it's expensive. The alternative is to have a few more buildings full of people get blown up. Which do you prefer?
Preferably that we hadn't used such a crass foreign policey to begin with in order to help avoid encouraging this kind of hatred. Barring that that the war had been fought in a manner that would have minimized casualties on both sides and allowed us to keep control of Iraq without it becoming a hotbed for terrorist activity.

Right, because caving in to the demands of terrorists reduces terrorism.

Yeah. The IRA`s main forces are still fucking around with the UK, right?
Heh, compromise and give the main force less of a reason to become terrorists while eliminating/discrediting the nutjobs. An insane cause can only appeal to the desperate.
Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

I saw the last tape, it looked more like an office then a cave, I mean he didn’t look dirty, or on the run, and hello he has to be on dialysis, how the hell haven’t we found him? He must be doing pretty well if he's able to make tapes, I mean we found a worn Iraq ruler, in what was it....a month? Him mocking us makes him a threat because it makes him a symbol leader for assholes around the world who want to harm the US.

Well, either way it doesn't matter, Bush just "Doesn't spend that much time on him anymore..." anyways! You know, there are better things to do then find the guy to claimed responsibility to 9/11. It's hard work! Y'a know?
"Personally, I'm in favor of democracy, which means that the central institutions of society have to be under popular control. Now, under capitalism, we can't have democracy by definition. Capitalism is a system in which the central institutions of society are in principle under autocratic control. "
While Bin Laden is still 'at large' there is a face to a 'War against Terrorism'. I've always believed Saudi Arabia more of a breeding ground for terrorism myself.
Learn as if you were going to live forever. Live as if you were going to die tomorrow. --Mahatma Gandhi
November 1, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - Osama bin Laden warned in his October Surprise video that he will be closely monitoring the state-by-state election returns in tomorrow's presidential race — and will spare any state that votes against President Bush from being attacked, according to a new analysis of his statement.
If Bin Laden truly cared about harming the United States again, he would have done so before now... instead of watching the elections on TV. But, if I'm wrong... I'm saved. I'm surrounded by Blue.
As far as finding Hussein in a month... I think they knew where he was the whole time, or at least they knew in advance, so they could make a production out of it. They say they found him because a rug under a tree looked suspicious. Has anyone seen pictures of the place where they found him? There was so much stuff on the ground, a rug under a tree hardly seems worthy of notice. But I'm not fully awake, and when I'm in this state, I see conspiracies everywhere. But at the heart of every conspiracy is a grain of logic...

Early in life I had to choose between honest arrogance and hypocritical humility. I chose the former, and have seen no reason to change.
