What the protestors hate worse than the war is the coalition forces winning the war. They also hate the sight of Iraqis waving at American troops and dancing on the fallen statues of Saddam Hussien. And they will really hate the finding of weapons of mass destruction.
The protestors hate anything associated with the president, including vice president Cheney, Secretary of State Colin Powell, and national security advisor Condoleeza Rice. They hate, they hate, they hate.
The protestors hate anything that makes president Bush look good because that tears the foundation of their arguement that he is stupid and unfit to be president of the united states.
The protestors are blindedby their own hatred. Blinded to the point that they have lost whatever objectivity that they had with regards to national and international issues.

I got this letter and posted it here because it has alot of truth to it. I have been saying that much of the protesting is just partisan politics run amok as few liberals would be against the war if Al Gore were our president.

I can honestly say that over all I am happy with the apparent outcome of this war, although I still worry about it's potential conequences, implications, outcomes, the treatment and mentality toward those who protest/protested the war, etc, etc.

A perfect example would be the fact that those Iraqi's who lost family members in the war might now be even more inclined to join terrorist organizations . . .

I am thinking that liberals, Hollywood movie stars, and the Dixie Chicks would have stood by President Al Gore while he was going into Iraq.

Why yes, of course and if it was Churchill instead of Hitler that prefered the "final solution" there would be no jews now...

You said yourself Six that a government that governs less rules best, this is called "liberal democracy", it's where the government remembers that they are elected representitives and actually represents the electorate, this system is working fantastically in Switzerland and also in the Netherlands I think.
The fact that you came out with this quote led me to believe that you were informed and educated about your political viewpoint however, your complete blindness to the fact that the government is even the slightest bit infallable goes against this assumption.

The reason they are not stopping the looting is that law enforcement is an internal matter...it's strange that up to now Saddams law enforcement was a major issue that the allies were very concerned about, in the absence of any WMDs they quoted the treatment of people in Iraq and the human rights issue as very important, that seems to have vanished when it became their responsability.
