Once upon a time there was a rock named Barney. He was a sedimentary rock. He was abour 1 1/2 feet long and about 10 inches at his widest. He was a blueish-grey color, and was very smooth and rounded.

Barney lived at the beach. He had many friends there, most sedimentary, but a few really old metamorphic rocks. Barney spent his entire life at the beach with his friends; basking in the sun all day, lounging in the surf when the tide was high, and at night he'd stretch himself out under the stars and think to himself 'Man...what a life.'

Then one day Barney went missing....
