I want to build an inexpensive computer.. But if I go and buy parts from places like CompUSA its going to be more expensive than just buying a computer..

Places like Pricewatch.com have cheap parts but the shipping and handling makes em expensive..

Where do you people suggest I get computer parts like cheap RAM, HDs, video cards etc...

Heh, depends... Places like Pricewatch generally have a retail store somewhere. Drive there and save yourself the shipping. Myself, I have 2 or 3 cheap shops just over the border in Germany... but I don't think that helps you much

Try LSMicro..... they should have a website.... they have some fairly competitive prices..... and are real trustworthy....

I usually get my 'puter parts through my work, but they order from this place, which happens to be about five minutes away from them. It's called Sparten Tech., and their prices, compaired to the other sites listed above are much better. It's hard to find good prices online, for some reason, and much easier to just go out and find a small computer store that sells the stuff, or better yet, one that doesn't know what it's selling. No matter, this place accepts money orders for those without credit, and is trusted by myself, and of course, my work. http://spartantech.com/ You may have to click refresh once to get it to work, for some reason it doesn't come up the first time on my comp, but that just may be me and my shoddy jobs of reprogramming it.
