I think ym sound card is out. There is absolutely no sound. I have gone into the volume control and made sure that nothing was muted. Where is the sound card located and how much are they and how do i install a new one?

why people shouldnt talk about religion: Too fucking controversial

The best thing about the election is that their names are very similar to sex and violence. Bush and Gore, the two things that
make the world go 'round."

Some soundcards are located on the mainboard itself. If they fail, you can disable those in the BIOS and buy an expansion card. If it is an expansion card, you need to look for it in the PCI slots, those are about 8CM long slots situated at the rear end of the mainboard. The card you want is the one with the sound output.

But before you make changes, do a driver upgrade and check the audio cable running to the soundcard. Also check if you have accidently plugged the cable in wrongly.
