I had to reinstall my OS. I originally used MS word. Now I'm stuck with using notepad fro my work. To be honest I kind of do like notepad better, but it has no word count option, as well as other functions critical to novelists, and people that merge images with their work.

Does anyone have a copy of MS word that they could zip and e-mail me?

I'm not sure what original version I had, but now all of my work is in word pad format. As long as I can resave my data as a MW file, it's all good.

I guess the more recent the better.

Why not just download it off of Kazaa or Limewire or someother download program?

Or find a friend who has a good amount of system disks. Most whole-bought systems come with Office, so chances are they'd have it. Then just install it.
