Mandrake 9.2 on the IBM laptop, FreeBSD 4.8 on one desktop, Mac PB 5300 w/ OS 7.6 (mostly just for testing), Mac PB G3 bronze with OS 9.1 (also pretty much just for testing), first series G4/500 with OS X. This is besides the WinXP boxes I keep for the wife and kids to use.

Gentoo is piss easy to use, just as easy as standard gnome or kde, or whatever desktop you choose to use (or not), its the install and config that's awkward, well the config that's awkward, installing new stuff is just very time-consuming. You get one hell of a system though, set up just how you want it.
I'll probably use Gentoo again when they transfer the 2.6 kernel to gentoo-sources.
Thanks. Find out exactly what to think, next.
I'm afraid I've left this forum, please read To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Ooooh, yeah! I'm so glad there are Linux users here!
I use a dual boot Win98 SE / Mandrake 10 on my Desktop,
and I usually run Red Hat 9 on my laptop...
(I use win98 for KoolMoves Flash, as F4L isn't quite ready)
Congrats to the fellow Linuxians, this makes me happy....
Well, I hope you'll continue the support of Open Source Development,
I was working with MaddogH on the F4L project, check it out at sourceforge, it'l be great! (Linux Flash IDE, wooo! No more direct AS coding!)
