i hate the damn thing. everyone and their mother kept telling that this was the best to use, so i bought it. i just spent the last 2 days to get the damn thing to work. nothing.

i've done everything it told me. i've done everything i know. i cannot get it to work.

i am also, currently, on the phone with tech support. it's been half and hour and i'm still on hold.

either this thing is fucked, or it just, for some reason, is not compatible with my DSL.

if i still can't get it working, can anyone give me some advice or another wireless router that you think will work?

Turns out, it was defective. Most of the components were missing. It was basically a purplr box with lights.

LOL i bought one of their wireles "G" cards and installed it.. All i get around my house is occasional cell phone/PDA pops.. Of course i do live in the basement soo...

Can anyone offer idea's/links on how to get a signal from outside my unit that won't cost more than 2fingers? (verses the arm and leg thing)
