righto... so things stopped working properly and started messing up alot...
im guessing its a hijack or something... browsed the web looking for help, didnt find any... then i remembered aet is god at this sort of thing.... so any way here i go....

the first thing i noticed was my homepage was set to http://nffrbf.outhost.info/
no help trying to change it back... so i ran ad aware, found stuff here and there but didnt fix it... so i look for spybot, and whenever i try and download it, im guessing the file gets deleted right away, no matter if i open from location or download it with a dl manager... also the browser automatically gets closed when i go to some sites which mention spybot and stuff...

also when i run security task manager, it shows svhost.exe and winunins.exe up top which are most dangerous... when i try to end these processes it says "parameter incorrect"

yeah... i saw that, read it... tried it.... and got stuck...

i ran whatever antivirus and ani spyware stuff i have... which is norton, spy sweeper, add aware and... well thats about it...

and whenever i try to dl any thing like cws shredder, or spybot, or anything like that... the window gets closed or the file disappears teh moment it finished dling...

There is some spyware/adware that can close anti-spyware programs...but not many. You may want to use hijack this, and post the read out it provides. I can then go over it and hopefully find out what is causing you these problems. Also, try a trojan scanner...it doesn't sound like you have a trojan, but better safe then sorry. There is a link for both hijack this, and some trojan scanners in that long post. I don't know what else to tell you. Without being able to see whats on your computer, I can't just start telling you to remove what you may or may not have. You can always go into the add/remove programs thing, and see if there is anything that you don't recognize; don't remove anything, just tell me what is there that you don't recognize and I can look it up and tell you how to proceed. I must stress that hijack this can be used to find the pest much better then the add/remove programs thing, but it's up to you on how you want to proceed.

I hope this helps, and if you don't know how to save a text file from hijack this, just click save log and name it whatever you want. Then simply copy it and past the text from it in a post here, and I can analyze it for you.

well actually that is probably the easiest thing to do... planning on getting a external dvd r/w drive... so, once i get that.... ill just... save what i want... then... yeah... reinstall and stuff...
