ugh.. have you ever had a weekend that was completely out of control musically? i went down to sand diego with some friends last weekend, problem was that they invited some dude that i've never met, but he insisted on being king d.j. for the trip. turns out that this guy likes music that sounds like dog shit. he also thinks that his music sounds better when it's turned full blast. yeah.. ok.. no. his shit sounded like a mix between the doors and the brian setzer orchestra if they were all looped on a 55 gallon bucket of nyquil.
fuck.. talk about annoying.

yeah.. i guess i am lucky in that respect, but i think next time i'm going to insist on driving. that way i'll have veto power over shitty music and retarded tag along friends.

Hm. I like pretty much all current music, and most of my friends have good music taste, in the event that they make me listen to their music. Except, usually it's me who's driving and DJing and subjecting my friends to all manner of harsh industrial music that they can't stant and aren't used to listening to.
I'd say suck it up and just be glad it's over. And if you see that guy alone on the street, kick his ass.

i can deal with just about any type of music from classical to cock rock, but this was pure horse shit.

I tend to DJ in my girlfriend's car and if I drive I usually do for that, too. uNless anyone says "hey, can we put this in?" or, in Chino's case, flat out grabs my cd player I play my music. I tend to mix it up (I've made tons of mix cds) so it's not..like..straight black metal, straight industrial, straight death, straight thrash, straight experimental or whatever. But unless they help themselves I'm not gonna help them. Most of my friends enjoy it though, around school I'm the music collector. "WHo the hell are these guys?" "Ask R.Lee, I'm sure he's seen them in concert twice and done drugs with the singer". They get exposed to some neat stuff I love peddling my wares.

I ALWAYS insist on driving, for two reasons. Number one, I can't stand the way everyone else drives, and number two, I like my own tastes in music a lot better.
Yeah, I hate being passenger now that I drive. Everyone drives so...slow..and......safely. I like my drive to be fun. I drive fast, turn hard and make race car noises.

two factors why i didn't drive:
-gas in the chevelle from l.a. to san diego sucks.
-my s-10 only seats two
like i said though, next time i'm just driving my truck so i don't have to deal with that shit.
