Just give me your ideas on these bands...Tell me whether they are decent, suck, or rock...Curious really thats all...
My own ideas are that Cold rocks, Nonpoint has some real potential, and Drowning Pool reminds me too much of Disturbed...But that could be a good thing not sure...

I find it interesting that 13 people have viewed this and not one reply...In a place where everyone has an opinion that seems odd to me...Maybe all the people who have something to say took the night off from the forum...

Cold is really good....and the other two i dont really know that much about, cuz i just havent had time to keep up with music this summer like i usually do in my everyday life, due to some family issues

Drowning pool - Bah. Tired, clichéd "nu-metal." One of those bands that doesn't need to exist, becuase everything they have to offer can be found somewhere else.

Nonpoint - used to promote em back before they got signed, when I was a rapmetal kid and ran a music zine. I bought the "new" album for 5 bucks at a used CD sale. There are a few good tracks on it, but I don't listen to it much anymore. Their "tribute" to Busta Rhymes makes me wanna jam ballpoint pens in my kneecaps... it's pretty damn awful.

Cold - one of my all-time faves. Bought their first CD about 3 years ago, and I've been listening ever since. They've changed a bit, but it's not exactly for the worse: I liked the mood/feel of the first album a lot more, but the new one is better in terms of song composition. Either way, they're good.

Anyway..

Nonpoint is good live, but I'm not really familiar with them.
Drowning Pool is better live, but the only song I ever remember is "Bodies"
And Cold is just.. better.

Lyric-wise, I like the second... sound-wise I liked the first. The first one had a darker feel. It's funny though, how Cold will pick like, two specific phrases and use them repeatedly... I swear I've never heard another CD use the word "pseudo" as much as their self-titled..

Cold, didn't like them years ago when they were some no name bush cover band opening for gravity kills, dont' like them now that they're flavor of the week.

thoses bands rock but cold is by far the best
