I baught a depeche mode cd the other day, first one I've ever baught, i think its called 101 or something, anyway its a love concert albulm, its pretty good.

so anyway I'm listening to it late one night, and I'm thinking, yeah, this was a pretty good by, its got some good songs on it. But then, to my horror I hear track number ten, on the 2nd cd. its called 'I just can't get enough' what the fuck?!? I'd heard the song before, I think almost everyone has, but Ihad no idea it was a depeche mode song, what the hell is going on? the entire albulm is good then I hear this one song!!!

how could 'blasphemious rumours' and 'I just can't get enough' be by the same group??!? can anyon explaine this too me?

Depeche Mode is an old band. And like a lot of bands that become fairly popular, they will eventually release some commercial crap. Don't forget Depeche Mode is an 80's band. View it in that context and you'll understand.

Yeah..... they is very old..... startin up in the way early 80's with Construction Time Again and A Broken Frame..... which does not sound like thier late eighties stuff

Their first album was really poppy and really well... gay. It was written by Vince Clark who left to start Erasure. Their albums stayed really poppy and lacking in substance (but still really fun synthpop) until Black Celebration.
