he hates just about every organized religion and loves to point out their flaws, like these lyrics, where he calls them sheep as well as points out some of the more laughable parts of the bible.

i'd have to basically quote the entire next song, so i wont. the jist is about some kid that tells him that he's an o.g. tool fan and he thinks that they've sold out to 'the man.' maynard spits back that every rockstar has sold out from the begining and he can take his accusations and shove 'em up his ass.

each verse of 'stinkfist' talks about becoming more and more desensitized to your surrounding world, of course using a metaphor about fisting. 'finger deep... knuckle deep... elbow deep.'

I hate questions like this. I don't see the point. There are too many Tool songs that apply to me in different ways. Why don't we pick one album, discuss that thoroughly and move on to the another albums? (kinda like it sorta started, but no one kept it going)

I love every Tool song. Except "Ions".. it hurts my ears because the panning effect gets too loud at some points (the way i listen on high volume with my kickass headphones) and gets on my nerves because it's too long and I'm probably missing the point of the whole song because I've never done acid.

I hate tool.
