Well it looks like the Tapeworm project should finally be getting it's release soon.
For those who don't know about this this it's a collaboration between members of ~ Nine Inch Nails/Tool/Marilyn Manson/Helmet/Pantera and others.

So far there's only a few pics of Trent, Manyard and Danny Lohner in the studio, but hopefully there will be some more.
There's a pic of the track listing but it's conveniently blurred.
A few of the tracks have already been leaked out and can be downloaded from various sites.
Tracks are ~
"Vacant" - Which A Perfect Circle covered on a live show.
"Chemical"
"Warlock" - Which features members of NIN with Marilyn Manson.
And "Fiest".

I personally can't wait.

Yes, I've been hearing rumors. But I didn't know any details. That sounds awesome. Members from some of my favorite bands all collaborating. I can't wait either.

The story is that Danny Lohner & Charlie Clouser(NIN) had pieces of music stored away, dating back to "The Downward Spiral" days.
They felt that although the music wasn't right for that album, it still deserved to be heard. So they set out to find people who would contribute vocals to the pieces.
"Vacant" is already a classic track in my opinion.
Besides, I think it's about damn time we had something worthwhile to look forward to.

Word. I saw some studio pics of Trent, Maynard and Charlie a long while back, and got excited. Hopefully it won't be another superstar blunder like U.N.K.L.E. (even though I love U.N.K.L.E.), in terms of longeivity.

To be honest, I think it'll be just like U.N.K.L.E., a one off.
I haven't heard anything about it being a solid new band, more a side project.
It's taking long enough for this album to come out, rumours started about a year and a half ago I think.
And lets face it, NIN and tool aren't exactly known for pumping out record after record, but that's the price of greatness I suppose.
