Emo, goddamn, I hope not.
I'd like you to give our music a listen, and tell us what you think.
Most of us in this band are old school goth. We've gotten a bit older, and I'd like to think we've progressed musically.
You might remember us from blade fetish, this ascension, and trance to the sun.
I won't be posting on more forum boards than I can personally keep up with, so I'm afraid you guys are stuck with me.

The name was actually taken from one of Ashkelons solo projects, iwhich grew into its current 5 member form.

You've got some great stuff. Your vocalist sounded bored at times, though.

Remember, those are rough studio tracks. We started recording our EP today.

the mixing sounds great, nothing musically overpowers any other element, but your vocals are just too flat, not out of key or anything, just flat. in your little voice solo in the vocalist it sounds like you've got a decent range. you even start to use it at the beginning of the second verse, but then you drop back down to that lower range and it just kills it for me. lifting dust had a cool intro, but i couldn't hang with the whole song. maybe if i ate a fistful of valium before hand i'd get it better.

Well, like I said, those are studio roughs. Done primarily as worksheets for the whole band. All the vocal parts were done in one take, pretty much as the song was written.
We hope to rectify some of those issues with our real recordings.

those are some nice songs, but like the rest said, the vocals can sound a bit less 'I'm bored', hopefully it sounds better in the final version...as for the rest, good luck and keep us updated

A friend of mine played the CD "In A Case Of Fire", and it was the best music I've heard in a long time. I was ecstatic that you are a local band, and had to check out your show at the Hawthorne Theater in September. I listen to The Church, The Bolshoi, Dead Can Dance, etc. and Mark I think your voice is amazing. I love what you guys are doing and look forward to your next show.
