I don't know why I'm starting this thread. I woke up singing "Loud Love" in my head and now I'm waking up the neighbors at 5am with a Soundgarden flash back tuesday...or is it Monday...wednesday??? Well whatever...it's been since 12th grade since I really fucking indulged in them...
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO CHRIS CORNELL?! I mean I know what he's done lately and all...well not the latest but... I respected this guy so fucking much and then he goes and marry's Carmen Electra. I know alot of you guys are like...SO. So...bleeeechhhhh. The music is still semi desent I suppose... I liked him better in the Soundgarden days when he wasn't so....um...obviously...gender challenged. Going back to bed now...I think.

you know sadly i agree with you. he's become soo.....just not his former glory. he thinks too highly of himself and therefor he just goes to one pet project after another, falling out with everyone as he goes.

but sound garden....they never failed to take me away...

His solo stuff just doesn't have the drive behind it that Soundgarden did. He goes into these side projects as chris cornell, and everyone has to bow and defer to him. In soundgarden he had 3 other people to work with and temper his dieas for, etc. Now it's just all him and I really can't dig it.
