Personally I think so. The Wii is always gonna have neat stuff, this is just next on the list. Afterwards it's gonna start repeating itself. So why not get in on it now while it's hot?
I think it's gonna be a little less "Neato cool!" then what it really is, that said, I'd pay $50, not $80. Not sure if the price will drop in six months though (when I usually buy a new game). If I had a wii, I'd buy it.

the bf bought me it as an early (real early) bday present and i have to say i love it. it's actually got me enjoying exercising lol. i've yet to try the muscle exercises though, i've just been sticking with yoga, aerobic and balance games.

plus, you can use it in other games too. things like mario cart will let you use it as pedals and suchlike, and apparently lots of other games will use the tilt functions.
I haven't bought one simply because i don't use my wii enough right now. I'm tempted to get it eventually once i have more room but at the moment, it doesn't seem likely.
I think it's a great idea, but wait until the price comes down a little bit.
Rock band is out this friday and i'm having to fight temptation there. I think I'll be the person who tries it out on someone else's xbox rather than the other way round, like Guitar Hero III
I was just reading an article about it in yesterday's paper. Not really much of a video game player myself, but the fact that it was a fitness thing caught my eye. I'm more for actually going out and doing activities but I guess it could be a good thing if it's getting the couch potatoes off the couches and actually doing something. Plus I guess it's usable with other games too, it seems.
What will they think of next... the Wii Jii Board?

It's okay, Tozzy. I did originally think of one worse than that but then refrained due to the fact that there would have been no redeeming social value whatsoever. Then again, this is Darkforum...
