I know i am gonna get alot of shit from you slippy people,but i am extremly pissed at news that i have been researching about Slipknot...I cant recall the name of the record company,but they wanted to sign Mushroomhead(great fucking band!)but the label wanted to write all the music and control the stage show,so Mushroomhead said "Fuck you" and walked out.So months later the company calls Mushroomhead and says "we've matched you".They went out and put together a band to immitate exactly what Mushroomhead is,they called thereselves "Slipknot".

Mushroomhead is a good band, but Slipknot is one of my favs and I really don't care about how the hell they got to where they are, I love them, and they kick ass and I will never think differently.

Mushroomhead has been around a hell of a lot longer than slipknot but they are not main stream so that's why u didn't know Mushroomhead has couple of cds out 3-4 something like that so yes get your shit in order before you speak or shut the hell up.

fuck you, that whole story that fts posted is bull because roadrunner is known for not controling bands music, and what i meant is slipknot was on that record lable before mushroomhead was asked to be on it so there.

slipknot sucks..you are surprised that those goofs arent for real? Almost everything on the radio is pre-arranged gormet shit for people to lap up like brainless dogs.
I closed this thread about an hour ago. But I think some people are thinking that I'm going a little overboard with closing threads. Be that as it may, I still think a thread that centers around bashing Slipknot is a waste of bandwidth.
To whoever said that roadrunner is known for not controlling the music that bands put out is full of shit. This is the whole reason that Deicide is leaving that bullshit label. They had one more cd to put out and that was In Torment In Hell and it almost sucks. they control the band and the music they put out. They control all aspects of the band. Road Runner sucks. I'm glad that Deicide has left Road Runner so they can go back to making kick ass music the way they want to, not the way some record label executive that knows nothing about music tells them to make it. Music is supposed to be about MUSIC, not the almighty dollar, which Road Runner is more concerned with. And yes Slipknot sucks. Fucking MTV bullshit.
