I'm not a big Placebo fan, but this album rocks like Radiohead. Anyone else like this pop-py album? What songs do you love/hate off this album?

but comparing any band to radiohead, is wrong. very wrong.

not as wrong as saying that radiohead are the new pink floyd. hell saying anyone are like pink floyd is wronger than wrong.

Yeah, Radiohead are far better. I really dislike Brian's voice. I heard the single and it put me off buying the album.

i had all their stuff... all the albums... but my cds got lent out and shit and i lost em all. i had em backed up, and then my hdd got fucked up real bad by a really killer virus. (wrote off)

i prefer radiohead though.... wee yay only a month and a half til i see em!!!

Have you seen them live? I seen Placebo and Radiohead. Radiohead were much better.

~lix~ I guess so, I like mournful stuff. Suits my moods. They vary between angry/upset/melancholy/furious/despondent/miserable. Placebo works for upset, melancholy, despondent and miserable. For angry and furious there is Otep.

Brian's voice is very whiney-it took me awhile to get used to it. I think Radiohead is definitely better, but this new album really surprised me. It's so melancholy-I love it! This will be an album to mark this passing of time...............
